Star Trek Charities

I wonder what kind of charities they have in the Star Trek universe. I mean they appear to have solved world hunger and the middle east's problems. Medicine had advanced such that the only things it seemed they couldn't cure by waving around a blinking light we would classify under "act of God" today. I suppose you'll still get your regular disaster benefits when there's a hurricane or something but overall, it's got to put a real damper on charities. Do you think celebrities go on game shows and donate their winnings to charities for things like upset stomach or speak out at rallies against bland food?

statistically improbable how i met your mother stories

I know it must happen; I mean statistically speaking, it must have happened at least once already, that a couple: true, love-at-first-sight soul-mates, who stay together until one of them dies of old age and then the other one passes away a month later from loneliness, meet at an orgy dome at Burning Man. I like to think about that ‘how I met your mother’ story getting told to their kids and I really want to know what the slide show looks like at their 50’th wedding anniversary. These are the things I think about when I’m relegated to drinking red wine at dinner.
