 I get that you want to be excited about starting a new year and the hopeful promise that it might bring. 

Just remember that you thought the same thing last year and, how well did that turn out? 

I fully expect 2022 will just be another variant of 2020. Which is just another variant of 2000, which is really just a variant of 200 BC, but with microwave ovens.

Passage of Time

 20 years ago, if you took a picture of your food and showed it to all your friends, they'd think you were losing your fucking mind. 

This should still be the case today.
