I give up

I had a friend suggest a TV show to me today about a black, Canadian woman who's a lawyer in Nova Scotia who also surfs (like on waves, not the Internet). I fucking give up. There is such a thing as too much diversity.

Patience

Take a minute before you all lose your shit. Take just a minute; because in this time of getting your news via fucking Twitter and Facebook you can't really afford to take more than that, but take a minute before whatever happens next, to appreciate that Bob Mueller has done a thankless job in service (once again) to his country. That he's done it professionally, without leaking, without publicly losing his cool despite what would have been enormous pressure from everyone. Whatever happens next, happens next, but take a minute to appreciate the guy and if you get a chance, buy him a beer. If anybody deserves it, it's Robert Mueller.

Now proceed to go lose your shit, here's my contribution: Between the delivery of the Mueller Report and the return of Game of Thrones, there will inevitably be the comparison that having Trump in the White House is like having a Lannister on the Iron Throne. This is an inflated and unfair comparison. Lannisters pay their debts.

Unicorns

Inspired by a recent conversation, I did some text searches of the King James Bible.

King James Bible mentions of "unicorns":

Numbers 23:22 - “God brought them out of Egypt; he hath as it were the strength of an unicorn.”

Numbers 24:8 - “God brought him forth out of Egypt; he hath as it were the strength of an unicorn: he shall eat up the nations his enemies, and shall break their bones, and pierce them through with his arrows.”
