Classical Music

Is there a name for classical music if it's written recently? You can't really call it classical music if it was composed after the invention of the automobile, that just seems kind of disrespectful; on the other hand, you can't rightly tell someone that even with bad insomnia you're not desperate enough to listen to their mediocre piano composition played on a Yamaha keyboard, accompanied by synthesized harp and then use the wrong name.
